As artists, we change, we move, we grow, we are drawn, we push, we lead. I have flowed and ebbed, and flowed again. From my Midwest roots, I flowed to the lush Pacific Northwest, immersing myself in watercolors, acrylics, pushing boundaries. I moved through realism, impressionism, expressionism, figures, always pushing. I trained, I studied, I painted, I worked, I watched, I imagined.
Now I have been drawn in a new direction, inspired by the stark patterns of the beach; the round of stones, the angle of sticks. The cool and hot, the wet and dry, the yin and yang; I am flowing again.
